Here is an approximate breakdown of the marks for the DCG project.

A lot of the CAD marks are for your drawings, don't get obsessed with Solidworks!

Putting it All Together

The end of the project is when you submit the DCG SA folder to your teacher. This will be then burned to CD and printed.

Go through the Final Checklist to make sure you've got everything completed.

Creating the Main PDF

  • You need to submit one single PDF file. You can create PDF's of each output by using the Save As function in PowerPoint or Solidworks and selecting PDF as the file type.
  • This gives you a collection of individual PDF files. Rotate any that need it using a tool such as SmallPDF Rotate so that they are all in landscape format.
  • Merge the individual PDF files using a tool such as SmallPDF Merge.
  • Rename the merged file "DCG SA 2016 (exam number).pdf" using your actual exam number
